Fill/Pack Operator

Walpole, MA | Contract with potential to convert | Manufacturing | $21.00/hr | 40 hours/week – 2nd shift (3PM – 11:30PM)

About the Opportunity
  • This is an entry‑level role that will provide training and the opportunity to work for a global company with a highly regulated work environment.
  • A production worker completes a wide variety of production and manufacturing‑related tasks in Fill/Pack Finished Production Areas.
  • This role will be involved in manufacturing medical diagnostic test kits.
What You’ll Do
  • Operate the fill production manufacturing equipment.
  • Inspect and package finished product.
  • Verify raw materials to ensure batches manufactured contain correct components and quantities.
  • Assist and partner with support personnel to troubleshoot manufacturing‑related issues.
  • Follow production area procedures and area guidelines as written.
  • Comply with quality system and regulatory agencies: FDA, ISO, OSHA etc.
  • Follow all area safety rules and procedures.
What You’ll Bring
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in Fill/Pack Finished Production Areas.

  • Experience in an FDA regulated facility, production/manufacturing environment, manufacturing equipment operation, good documentation practices, good manufacturing practices, PC skills (MS Office, Outlook, Word, Documentum, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and machines.
  • Fast learner.
  • Technical aptitude with labeling equipment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Additional Information
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
  • Position requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, lab coats, and safety shoes. The client will provide PPE.
  • Individuals may need to use a perch stool or stand in a fixed position for long periods of time.
  • Position requires lifting materials to 50 lbs.
  • Based on business needs, individuals may be required to work overtime or modify work hours.
