Job Summary

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Premier Healthcare at Harrington House, you will provide basic nursing care and assist residents with daily living activities in a compassionate, resident‑centered environment. Under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, you will answer call lights, assist with ADLs, and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Answer call lights and respond to resident needs
  • Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, grooming, oral care, and incontinence care
  • Assist with meals and feeding
  • Assist with range‑of‑motion exercises, transfers, and wheelchair mobility
  • Turn and reposition residents as needed
  • Assist with short‑distance ambulation within the facility
  • Observe and report changes in resident's condition
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Valid CNA certification (required upon start date)
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Six months of CNA experience in long‑term care preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
  • Ability to respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations
