Join a Supportive and Child-Focused Nursery Team
We are currently recruiting for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming and nurturing early years setting in Walsall.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate childcare professional who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences and supporting children's development in a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment.
The role will involve working with children across the early years age range and supporting their learning, development and wellbeing in line with the EYFS framework.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality care and early education in line with the EYFS framework
Plan and deliver fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities
Observe, assess and track children's development and progress
Act as a key person, building strong relationships with children and parents
Maintain a safe, secure and stimulating learning environment
Follow safeguarding, welfare and health & safety procedures SEND / SENCO (Desirable)
You may also support children with additional needs by:
Supporting identification of SEND needs
Implementing individual support plans
Liaising with parents and external professionals
Promoting inclusive practice across the setting (SENCO experience is desirable but not essential — training can be provided.)
Requirements
Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (CACHE/NVQ or equivalent)
Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passion for supporting children's learning and development Desirable:
Paediatric First Aid
SEND or SENCO experience What's on Offer
