Position: Technical Assessor – Hazardous Waste Management
Location: Willenhall

EXPERIENCED HAZARDOUS WASTE TECHNICAL ASSESSOR REQUIRED TO UNDERTAKE PRE-ACCEPTANCE, WM3 CLASSIFICATION AND OTHER DUTIES

TITLE:

Technical Assessor – Hazardous Waste Management

SALARY: £28-37K DOE, plus benefits and additional development / training

LOCATION:

Northwest Birmingham

Technical Assessor, Site Chemist, TFS Supervisor Reception Chemist, Technical Coordinator, Transfer Station Chemist, TFS Coordinator, Senior Technical Assessor

ROLE:
Technical Assessor – Hazardous Waste Management

Classify waste streams accurately using WM3

Data management & report writing

Determine most efficient and cost-effective treatment or disposal routes

Pricing and quoting

Travel to clients’ sites may be required on occasion

EXPEIRENCE:
Technical Assessor – Hazardous Waste Management

You will have 12+ months experience in a Hazardous Waste Technical Assessor role for a Hazardous Waste Management company

You will have a degree in Chemistry or a Science degree with modules that demonstrate you are a competent chemist (4 modules with Chemistry directly in the title e.g. organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry)

You will have a UK Driving Licence

You will have experience of classifying waste by WM3

Useful non-essential qualifications, COTC / WAMITAB
