Overview
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor the successful candidate will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on the electrical and mechanical building services at the Aston University Birmingham City Centre campus and Recreation Centre in Walsall. The role is primarily electrical in nature, responding to radio calls for tripped circuits and failed lighting as well as carry out minor installation works and preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities- Respond to radio calls for tripped circuits and failed lighting.
- Carry out minor installation works.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical building services.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance & Engineering Team.
- Communicate effectively with a wide range of internal contacts at various levels.
- At least Level 2 qualified electrician, 18th Edition preferable or to be obtained within the first 6 months of joining.
- Good written and spoken English skills.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and high level of organisation.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
