HGV Technician

Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for your next opportunity with a leading commercial vehicle dealership?
Greenhous DAF Willenhall is looking for a skilled and motivated technician to join our growing workshop team.

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing heavy goods vehicles to the highest industry standards. Working in a modern, well-equipped workshop, you’ll play a key role in keeping our customers’ fleets safe, reliable, and on the road.

OTE £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience, working shift and qualifications), to be discussed at interview.

Monday to Friday, alternating shifts:

1) 06.30am - 3.30pm

2) 09.30am - 6.30pm

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

• Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and inspections on HGVs.
• Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Repair and replace vehicle components as required.
• Complete all work in line with manufacturer and DVSA standards.
• Accurately complete job cards and service records.
• Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
• Relevant qualifications in heavy vehicle maintenance, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment.
• A positive attitude and strong team ethic.
