Roadside Technician – RAC

As a Roadside Technician with a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of experience, you will join the Walsall cluster covering Walsall, Aldridge, Brownhills, Cannock, Lichfield, Burntwood and Sutton Coldfield. Work is organised locally so you can start and finish your day from home.

A market‑competitive base salary of £36,400 with a realistic OTE of £61,000. Top performers can earn significantly more through bonuses and enhanced overtime rates.

Demand‑led shifts averaging 40 hours per week, with optional overtime available. Start and finish on your driveway.

• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of post‑qualification technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
• Customer‑focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

Provide expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. Tasks include flat battery replacements, tyre changes and complex fault discovery. Deliver quick, confident solutions and reassurance when members need it most.
