HGV Trailer Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of HGV Trailer Technician in the Willenhall area. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced trailer and heavy vehicle technicians to join a leading transportation and logistics provider.

• Basic salary up to £46,000, with bonus earnings circa £54,000

• Conduct detailed inspections, servicing, and repairs on trailers, ensuring safety and functionality
• Complete compliance documentation accurately and efficiently
• Diagnose and resolve issues using EBS systems such as HALDEX, WABCO, and KNORR BREMSE
• Participate in ongoing product and industry training, including IRTEC, tail lift, BPW, and SAF axle/brake training
• Deliver exceptional customer service within tight deadlines
• Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
• Uphold company values and standards at all times

• Experience working with semi-trailers or heavy vehicles
• Industry-standard qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQs
• Valid HGV Class 1 driving licence
• IRTEC accreditation
• EBS diagnostics experience, including Knorr Bremse, Haldex, and WABCO systems
• Welding certification
• Experience or training with axle manufacturers such as BPW, SAF, or JOST
• Experience with tail lifts, double deck, or lifting deck maintenance
