A rapidly scaling technology company in Waltham, MA is seeking a Senior Accountant to support complex accounting operations in a high‑growth environment. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast‑paced setting and enjoys both independent work and cross‑department collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month‑end close, journal entries, and general ledger activity.
• Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with revenue recognition, fixed assets, and prepaid expense accounting.
• Support audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
• Analyze variances, trends, and key performance metrics.
• Contribute to process improvements and accounting automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA track preferred.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience.
• Prior experience in technology, SaaS, or multi‑entity environments preferred.
• Strong systems skills and advanced Excel proficiency.

Work Model

• Hybrid: 2–3 days onsite in Waltham.
