Accounting Manager

Title: Accounting Manager

Salary: $120,000-$140,000

Location: Greater Boston, 90% remote

• Step into a key finance role with a growing international organization expanding its US presence
• Own the US accounting function and work closely with senior leadership on reporting, operations, and strategy
• Help build scalable accounting processes as the business continues to grow
• Take the lead on system improvements, automation, and finance department modernization
• Hybrid schedule with the potential for increased remote flexibility after training

• Oversee full-cycle accounting including month-end close, reporting, AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, and general ledger activity
• Manage inventory accounting, intercompany activity, and compliance with US GAAP standards
• Prepare financial reports and analysis to support executive decision-making
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve controls, and better leverage ERP systems
• Serve as the primary US finance contact while collaborating with international accounting leadership

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a Controller, Accounting Manager, or Senior Accountant capacity
• Strong hands‑on accounting background within a small to midsize company environment
• Solid understanding of month‑end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and US GAAP
• ERP experience required;
  Microsoft Business Central, Dynamics NAV, or similar systems preferred
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership in a growing business environment
