You’llbe focused on processing and reviewing standard revenue contracts, ensuring compliance with ASC
606, and supporting the monthly close process.

In the first 30 days, you will:

• Begin to grasp the order process flow, recognizing key items in orders and starting to understand when and how to address questions or concerns.
• Apply meticulous attention to detail to ensure understanding and handling of orders are error-free and compliant.
• Startinteractingwith team members and stakeholders,laying outthe groundwork for future collaboration and communication.

Within 3 to 6 months, you will:

• Develop the ability to independently reviewand process standard, repeatablesales orders,and revenue contracts.
• Knowtheappropriate contactsfor resolving questions and start building relationships with stakeholders, enhancingcollaborationand process efficiency.
• Begin tocomprehendkey accounting pronouncementsimpactingrevenue recognition at Evolv, integrating this knowledge into daily work.

By the end of the first year, you will:

• Empower Revenue Accountant  to independently review sales orders,maintainrevenue reporting accuracy, and ensure sales order approvals process efficiently, avoiding bottlenecks
• Consistently process routing contracts andmaintainaccuraterevenue records with minimal supervision.
• Updating installation and fulfillmentdatesinline withrevenue recognition rules
• Investigate approaches to understand and navigate the key systems, finding relevant information efficiently and independently.
• Partner with
  
  Sr. Revenue Accountant (or other relevant leaders) on ad hoc analysis and complex contract reviews to gain exposure and expand skillset. Utilizeopportunities to incorporateaccounting pronouncementsimpactingrevenue recognition at Evolv, integrating this knowledge into daily work.

• Strong foundational knowledge in accounting principles and practices is essential.
• Record and reconcile revenue accounts for standard contracts in accordance withUS GAAP and ASC
  605 policies.
• Identifyneeded monthly accruals
• Experience toapplyingthe revenue recognition standards, specifically ASC 606, to ensureaccurateand compliant accounting of revenue streams.

• Ability to prioritizehandling multipleadhocrevenue reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy, and meeting deadlines.
• Supporttrackingkeymetrics such as Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), Remaining Performance Obligations (RPO), and Deployed Units.

• Ensure precision in financial transactions, compliance with standards like ASC 606 and ASC 842, and accuracy in financial reporting, therebymaintainingthe integrity of accounting records.
• Review sales orders, bookings, and contracts, managing approvals in Net Suite and Salesforce

• Collaborate effectively with various teams such as Order Entry and Logistics, as well as the broader accounting team.
• Strong communication skills and the capability to work in a team-oriented environment to ensure cohesive operations and the achievement of common goals.
• Support the accounting team in managing the general ledger, and closing the books
• Serveas main point of contact for auditors for revenue testingof routine contracts
• Assistthe accounts receivable team with resolving invoicing issues
