Senior Accountant

Our client, a growing company in the healthcare/life sciences sector, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support key accounting functions and financial reporting activities. This role will focus on month-end close, accrual accounting, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

• Manage assigned accounting processes, including accruals and prepaid expenses
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
• Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards
• Assist with financial reporting and supporting schedules
• Partner with internal teams and external parties to gather financial information
• Support audit requests and documentation preparation

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience
• Experience with R&D accruals within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences environment required
• Net Suite experience preferred
• CPA and/or public accounting experience preferred
