Program Coordinator – Brandeis University
The Program Coordinator will provide administrative support to two of the Jewish Studies Centers at Brandeis University – The Hadassah-Brandeis Institute on Jewish Women’s and Gender Studies (HBI) and the Mandel Center for Studies in Jewish Education.
Responsibilities- Event Support – HBI – Coordinate event logistics for in‑person and Zoom events, including run‑of‑show documents, space reservations, calendar updates, Zoom event creation, registrations, catering, setup and breakdown, technology arrangements, speaker liaison, honoraria paperwork, accommodation booking, recordings, transcriptions, and ADA compliance. May supervise student event assistants. (30%)
- Research Awards Program – HBI – Manage and monitor applications via Jotform, coordinate decision committee meetings, draft calls for applications, advertise via communications team, assist in selecting shortlists, notify winners, and steward donor support. (30%)
- General Administration – HBI – Act as frontline resource for program operations, respond to emails and calls, track gifts and expenditures, schedule meetings, handle expenses, and maintain office supplies. (15%)
- General Administration – Mandel Center – Provide administrative support to directors, associate directors, faculty and staff: scheduling, photocopying, mailings, travel arrangements, expense tracking, support for courses and speaking engagements, compile service‑commitment materials, order books and periodicals, oversee subscriptions, greet visitors, manage mail, maintain inventory, assist events, manage office supplies, troubleshoot technology, set up Zoom and A/V, and process corporate credit‑card expenses.
(20%) - Other Duties – Additional duties as assigned. (5%)
- Education:
HS/GED required; AS or BA preferred. - Work Experience:
1–3 years of relevant experience.
$47,500–$59,200 annualized, paid hourly.
