As a Product Manager for Spot, you help design, build, and ship Boston Dynamics’ end-to-end robotic solutions, including software and hardware features, service offerings, and go-to-market plans. In this role, you will work with and support senior Product Managers across multiple product lines and applications, acting as a force multiplier by driving execution and clarity across multiple product initiatives. This offers a rare opportunity to gain broad, hands-on exposure to the full product lifecycle while collaborating closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer-facing teams.
You’ll help gather and refine requirements, analyze user and market insights, contribute to roadmap planning, and support execution from concept through launch. Over time, you’ll have the opportunity to grow in responsibility and specialize in the product area that aligns best with your strengths and interests. The successful Product Manager in this role is curious, organized, and eager to learn; ready to define the tactical initiatives that deliver against the strategic plan.
This role sits at the intersection of many teams, balancing the needs of internal and external stakeholders to deliver the best results for our customers. This role is onsite in Waltham, MA, and will require occasional travel to remain closely aligned with market and customer needs.

**** Day to day activities:
***** Developing business plans, pricing models, service plans, and other go-to-market components critical to scaling our quadruped solutions
* Coordinating between BD customers, engineering, and GTM teams to develop, integrate, test, and launch new capabilities for Spot
* Work with customers remotely and on-site to understand their needs, how they are using our products, and how we can help them succeed.
* Conducting gap and competitor analysis of our current solutions.
* Documenting and distilling customer information into high-quality artifacts to inform internal discussions and start the design process.
* Work with designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to design and prioritize features to accomplish user and business results for users.
* Work with a multidisciplinary team including external partners to identify market opportunities for robots and payloads, specify features for them, and bring them to market.
* Review customer data and metrics to validate hypotheses, identify usage patterns, and assess performance of existing features.
* Gather and synthesize qualitative and quantitative customer data to identify product gaps, validate hypotheses, and inform requirements and prioritization
* Work directly with customers (remotely and on-site) to understand workflows, pain points, and success criteria
* Conduct market, gap, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product decisions
* Support prioritization across competing initiatives by analyzing impact, effort, risk, and customer value
* Coordinate between BD customers, design, engineering, and GTM teams to develop, integrate, test, and launch new capabilities for Spot
* Review product usage data and metrics to assess feature performance and inform iteration and pivot
* Support the development of business plans, pricing models, service plans, and other go-to-market components critical to scaling our quadruped solutions in partnership with senior PMs and GTM teams
