The Team

Launched in 2023 as a division of Alloy Therapeutics, Alloy Genetic Medicines is revolutionizing the discovery of oligonucleotide therapeutics. Our Anti Clastic™ Cyclic RNA platform, built on technology exclusively licensed from Dr. Sudhir Agrawal at Arnay Sciences, overcomes traditional stability and safety barriers by engineering IP‑protected, configurable cyclic architectures. These cyclic structures deliver nuclease‑resistant therapeutics with greater potency, durability, specificity, and in‑vivo stability, while reducing immunostimulation.

GMED partners with pharmaceutical companies, such as Sanofi, biotech, and academic partners to discover and develop the next generation of RNA medicines.

The Role

As the Senior Director of Business Development for Alloy Genetic Medicines (GMED), you will support and execute business development activities that drive pipeline expansion across various GMED target audiences, achieving sustainable revenue growth through new opportunities and the development and expansion of strategic partnerships. You will manage the end‑to‑end sales lifecycle and process for GMED‑focused opportunities, from initial outreach through contract execution, in collaboration with GMED’s Chief Business Officer on strategic and enterprise‑level partnering.

This high‑impact role requires an experienced, entrepreneurial, and highly organized individual with a positive attitude and a “no task too small” mentality, comfortable balancing high‑level commercial strategy with the hands‑on execution required to build, advance, and sustain a healthy partnering pipeline.

This role reports directly to the CEO of Genetic Medicines and operates in a dynamic start‑up environment. The Senior Director of Business Development will partner with the Chief Business Officer (CBO) of Genetic Medicines, to close complex, enterprise‑level deals and on opportunities that span multiple Alloy business units.
