Overview
Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company focused on delivering novel therapeutics for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH). The company’s medication, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), is an oral, liver‑directed THR‑β agonist approved by the FDA and European Commission for the treatment of moderate to advanced fibrosis (F2 to F3). Madrigal values scientific excellence, operational rigor, and collaboration.
LocationThis position is based in the Waltham, MA office and requires onsite presence at least three days per week.
Key Responsibilities- Executive Calendar, Time & Priority Management – strategically maintain complex calendars, anticipate conflicts, and protect executive focus.
- Executive Partnership & Stakeholder Liaison – serve as primary liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders, representing executive leadership with discretion and judgment.
- Travel, Expense & Administrative Operations – coordinate end‑to‑end executive travel, provide real‑time support, develop itineraries and contingency plans, and reconcile expenses accurately.
- Leadership Team Enablement & Operational Execution – coordinate team meetings, agendas, and follow‑up actions; develop efficient systems for information, documents, and workflows.
- Cross‑Functional Leadership, Projects & Mentorship – lead or support cross‑functional projects, partner with the broader administrative team for coverage, and mentor administrative staff.
Some travel is required for team offsite meetings, to the Conshohocken, PA office, and potentially other meetings such as Executive Leadership Team offsites and Board of Directors meetings.
Required Qualifications- 10+ years of progressive administrative experience, including direct support of C‑level executives.
- Proven ability to manage complex schedules, shifting priorities, and high‑visibility work.
- Strong judgment, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and solutions‑oriented.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Prior experience in a biotech, pharmaceutical, and/or publicly traded company strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting finance, business development, or other corporate leadership functions.
Compensation includes a base salary of $104,000‑$127,000 per year, depending on qualifications, and equity in the company. Full‑time employees receive comprehensive benefits such as flexible paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life/disability insurance, and 401(k) offerings (traditional, Roth, and employer match).
