Business Analyst, AI

A biopharma-focused consultant is needed to support business process mapping, requirements documentation, agile project coordination, knowledge management, and AI-enabled workflow execution. The role combines business analysis, project operations, Jira and Confluence administration, training-document creation, and stakeholder coordination in a fast-moving cross-functional environment.

This consultant will help translate business needs into clear workflows, requirements, documentation, and execution plans while keeping projects on track through strong coordination and weekly status management. The role is especially well suited for a professional who is comfortable in agile ways of working, has experience in biopharma or another regulated industry, and can use modern AI-enabled collaboration platforms to improve speed, clarity, and follow-through.

• - Lead process mapping activities, including current-state and future-state workflow analysis, gap identification, and process improvement recommendations.
• - Gather, refine, and document business and functional requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and cross-functional working sessions.
• - Coordinate project execution by maintaining action logs, risks, dependencies, timelines, and weekly project updates to keep teams aligned and accountable.
• - Manage and maintain Jira and Confluence spaces, including ticket creation, backlog support, workflow tracking, status reporting, and knowledge-page organization.
• - Produce clear training materials, user guides, SOP-style documentation, playbooks, and process manuals for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• - Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and standups, while helping teams convert decisions into trackable work.
• - Partner with business, technology, operations, and vendor teams to ensure requirements are understood and execution stays on track.
• - Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate drafting, summarization, search, and status reporting where appropriate.

• - Proven experience in business process mapping, business requirements gathering, and workflow documentation.
• - Strong project management or project coordination experience, including ownership of weekly updates, follow-up actions, and stakeholder communication.
• - Hands‑on experience with Jira and Confluence in an agile environment.
• - Demonstrated ability to create training documents, user manuals, SOPs, and enablement materials.
• - Experience working proactively with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
• - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
• - Experience in biopharma, biotech, life sciences, or another regulated environment is strongly preferred.

• - Experience with search, market intelligence, or business development tools such as Alpha Sense, Patsnap, or similar platforms.
• - Familiarity with external innovation, competitive intelligence, knowledge discovery, or portfolio support workflows.
• - Exposure to AI tools for documentation, summarization, workflow automation, or enterprise search.
• - Experience working with agentic search tools, AI assistants, or AI platform-building initiatives is preferred.
• - Ability to support AI-enabled knowledge management, including intelligent search, connected documentation, and context‑aware collaboration workflows.
