Reporting to the Senior Director, Compliance, the Analyst, Compliance plays a key role in supporting the execution, administration, and continuous enhancement of Viridian’s Compliance Program. This position contributes to the development of policies, procedures training, and compliance resources , supports the day-to-day operations of the Compliance Department, and partners across the organization to help ensure compliance requirements are effectively integrated into business processes while fostering a culture committed to ethics, integrity and accountability.

This role is based in our Waltham, MA headquarters. Our office-based employees are required to work in the office three (3) days a week.

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
  • Support the execution and continuous improvement of Viridian’s Compliance training program through the development, coordination, and delivery of role-based training aligned to business activities and identified compliance risks.
  • Contribute to the development, revision, and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, guidance documents, and related resources to support adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and company standards. Support the Compliance Department’s day-to-day operations, including intake and triage of questions to the Compliance Mailbox, documenting all inquiries in the appropriate systems, and tracking timely resolution of pending questions.
  • Prepare compliance metrics and reports for senior leadership, Viridian’s Compliance Committee, and Viridian’s Board of Directors.
  • Partner with the business to facilitate access to compliance tools, resources, and approved materials, including Needs Assessment, Healthcare Professional (HCP) fair market value and tiering, compliance FAQs and guidance, sign-in sheets, and related materials.
  • Support the execution of Viridian’s Audit and Monitoring program through periodic in-person monitoring activities to help identify potential compliance risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and Compliance initiatives that strengthen program effectiveness, support business objectives, and promote compliant practices across the organization.
Requirements
  • 0–2 years of experience in healthcare compliance, corporate compliance, auditing, training, policy development, legal operations, risk management, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Life sciences, biotech, medical device, or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, self-motivated, team player, capable of proactively managing multiple day-to-day responsibilities and competing priorities.
  • Strong commitment to ethical standards.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience.
