Manager, Health and Benefits Strategy

In this Manager, Health and Benefits Strategy role, you will manage an assigned portfolio of health and insurance benefits. This role will contribute to health, insurance and wellbeing benefit strategy by evaluating program performance, identifying opportunities to improve effectiveness and cost efficiency and supporting development of recommendations to leadership.
We are seeking a highly analytical, resourceful problem solver who can operate independently in a fast-paced environment. This role supports colleague attraction, retention and motivation by ensuring our benefits align with Company and HR objectives.

Experience:
- At least 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in health and insurance benefits, including program management, vendor management, analysis and development of business recommendations.
- Experience gained in a corporate benefits function, benefits consulting or brokerage firm, insurance carrier, health plan or benefits vendor environment.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related analytical field; or equivalent experience
Skills:
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify material trends and cost drivers, evaluate assumptions and conclusions and develop data-driven recommendations
- Ability to work effectively with consulting, finance, clinical, legal, benefits operational and other specialists and translate their analyses into practical benefits strategies and tactics
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to connect with all levels of the organization
- Attention to detail, flexibility and ability to prioritize and take initiative
- Intellectual curiosity that drives independent research and analysis
- Proficiency with AI-enabled productivity tools, digital spreadsheet tools and presentation software to analyze data, streamline work and prepare high-quality deliverables
