Job Description:
Drama stipend roles support the production and presentation of school theatrical performances. Directors, choreographers, musical directors, and costumers collaborate to create high-quality, inclusive, and student-centered experiences in the performing arts.
Primary Responsibilities May Include:
Planning and leading rehearsals for plays, musicals, revues, and dance theatre productions Collaborating with music directors, choreographers, and production staff to align artistic vision Teaching choreography that is appropriate to students' developmental levels and diverse abilities Coordinating auditions, casting, and rehearsal schedules Supporting student performers in vocal, dramatic, and movement preparation Costuming shows, including fittings, sewing, alterations, and wardrobe organization Managing performance logistics in coordination with school and district staff Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of Director of Fine & Performing Arts to meet evolving program needs or interdisciplinary initiatives.
Compensation:
Per the WEA contract
Stipend amount: $525.
