Temp Choral Accompanist

We are hiring a collaborative pianist for the Brandeis Chamber Singers and University Chorus and vocal program. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11:00-2:05 weekly.

• Accompany weekly rehearsal.
• Provide accurate musical support for note learning.
• Prepare practice part files.
• Collaborate closely with the conductor in repertoire preparation.
• Participate in dress rehearsals, concerts, juries and recitals.

The hourly pay rate for the position is $50

• Advanced piano proficiency and strong collaborative accompanying experience.
• Demonstrated excellence in open score reading is required.
• Exceptional sight-reading skills
• Strong musicianship, reliability and rehearsal awareness
• Desire to mentor undergraduates and help build musical community.
