Job Description Summary
The Department of Economics currently seeks adjunct instructors to fill current and future open sections for several courses that include:
Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, and Business Statistics. There may be additional openings to teach upper-level undergraduate courses as well. Candidates must have at least an M.A. in Economics. Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. in Economics.

Salary Range:
Compensation for adjunct faculty is governed by the collective bargaining agreement between Bentley University and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 509.
For the 2025-26 academic year, adjunct faculty are compensated at a rate of $7,225.00 per course.
Courses with labs and other four-credit courses shall will be compensated at a higher minimum rate of $9,333.00 per course.
