Food Service Worker

Position: Food Service Worker 3.5 Hours
Food Service Cafeteria Worker 3.5 Hours

* Performs a variety of duties related to the school food service program, to maintain food service facilities in a clean and sanitary condition

* Set up serving areas and steam tables; serve food to students and faculty

* Count milk and other food items as assigned.

* Adhere to safe and sanitary working practices and procedures. Must take "Safe Serve" course within first 6 month probation period. (Non-substitutes)

* Collect money and make change. Use a cash register effectively

* Assure food items and supplies are stored properly

* Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager

* Must be able to stand for duration of work shift

* Must be able to lift 40lbs.

* Must be able to follow written and oral instruction

* Communicate both verbally and written with students and adults effectively

Salary:
As per the Food Services contract.
