Description
A collaboration with Carroll School and Northeastern University, the Angela Wilkins Program of Graduate Studies in Education is a dynamic dual degree and licensure residency-based graduate program. This hands‑on residency program prepares you to be equipped to handle the literacy crisis in Massachusetts and beyond. The program in conjunction with Northeastern University leads to full Massachusetts initial dual‑licensure and dual Masters’ degrees in
Education:
Moderate Disabilities-PK8 and Elementary 1-6. This intensive twelve‑month residency program starts in early June and ends the following June. Graduate interns take courses at Carroll School and Northeastern University while participating in a full‑time immersive teacher residency in classrooms ike other teacher preparation programs, graduate interns also receive nationally‑accredited Orton‑Gillingham training and certification, at no additional cost.
The application process is rolling for the 2026‑2025 inaugural cohort with Northeastern University. Applications are reviewed as they are received and decisions are made on a space available basis combined with suitability for an intensive residency‑based graduate program. Applications for the first cohort are due on or before May 31, 2026.
