Waltham Public Schools is seeking motivated Paraprofessionals to provide support to students within our Substantially Separate ESY programs. Paraprofessionals work under the supervision of a Special Educator to ensure students can safely and effectively access their summer programming and maintain critical skills.
Responsibilities:
* Implement academic curriculum and specialized interventions as directed by the lead teacher.
* Collect data on IEP goals and behavior, and assist in the implementation of individualized behavior plans.
* Assist students with all aspects of self-care, as required by individual student profiles.
* Provide active supervision during student transitions, arrival/departure procedures (bus/van duties), and general classroom activities.

July 6 - August 6 (Monday - Thursday)

8:30 am - 1:30 pm (Elementary) OR 9:00 am - 2:00 pm (Secondary)
* Staff
Hours:
15 minutes before and after student hours (5.5 hours daily; no additional planning hour)
* Compensation: $24.00 per hour (Total Session: $2,640.00)
