Essential Duties

  • Program Management for Bentley Global Experience Courses
    • Manage a portfolio of undergraduate and graduate BGX courses, including new and repeat courses annually.
    • Support faculty leaders through the program lifecycle from proposal to post‑program completion.
    • Review course budgets and coordinate purchase agreements with Procurement.
    • Communicate BGX offerings to students and create web content and brochures.
    • Execute marketing strategies in partnership with faculty, delegating tasks to student workers for promotional materials, digital brochures, social media posts, and printed flyers.
    • Advise students on BGX options, applying knowledge of academic requirements to target appropriate populations.
    • Create and maintain written guidelines and roadmaps for faculty, staff, and student participants.
    • Assist in planning and execution of Faculty and Staff pre‑departure travel sessions and BGX pre‑departure sessions for students.
    • Collaborate cross‑campus to incorporate Action Learning projects into courses and identify new project regions aligned with Bentley’s strategic plan, Falcons Forward 2030.
  • Incoming Exchange Coordination
    • Serve as the main point of contact for incoming exchange students and liaison with the Center for International Students and Scholars.
    • Determine and negotiate exchange spots for the upcoming academic year in consultation with the Executive Director.
    • Maintain meticulous records of exchange flows and coordinate with sending institutions for the nomination process.
    • Update exchange promotion materials and create a clear application process with calendar and deadlines.
    • Review academic transcripts, verify prerequisites, and coordinate course enrollment with academic departments.
    • Provide pre‑arrival advising, coordinate housing and arrival logistics, and facilitate orientation and welcome activities.
    • Act as academic advisor for exchange students for the duration of their stay.
    • Monitor student success and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Study Abroad Scholarship Administration
    • Oversee administration of study abroad scholarships and monitor fund balances.
    • Design and organize review criteria, application processes, and selection committees.
    • Coordinate timelines, promote scholarship opportunities, and assist students with application strategies.
    • Ensure fair and transparent review and selection processes, track data, and maintain accurate records.
    • Generate reports for leadership and external partners to measure student access and impact.
  • Custom Global Programs
    • Negotiate with suppliers and coordinate purchase agreements with Procurement for on‑campus programming services.
    • Collaborate with the Director to design, implement, and deliver week‑long academic programs.
    • Handle payments for internal and external vendors and maintain accurate financial records.
    • Recruit and train temporary student workers to support operations during program schedules.
    • Explore new academic programs to develop a comprehensive annual custom global program portfolio.
  • Other Duties
    • Advise students on program‑related issues and consult the Director when appropriate.
    • Research best practices for efficiency, assessment of operations, and outcomes.
    • Build and maintain professional relationships with faculty, staff, administrators, and external stakeholders.
    • Travel to support faculty leaders, oversee program operations, and conduct site visits.
    • Represent the University at study abroad fairs, information sessions, and other events.
    • Provide periodic after‑hours and weekend on‑call duty during programs as required.
Required

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 4+ years of experience in international education or international project management.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple programs with competing deadlines.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication, especially in cross‑cultural settings.
  • Strong client service orientation with faculty and VIPs; attention to detail, initiative, and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment and interact with diverse individuals at all levels.
