Program Manager – Jewish Education Collaborative Initiatives

Brandeis University’s Mandel Center for Studies in Jewish Education (MCSJE) invites a Program Manager for Jewish Education Collaborative Initiatives to advance the short‑term (1–2 year) “ST Next” project. The role integrates day school collaboration and shared‑resource stewardship from Stronger Together with MCSJE‑based field building to strengthen coordination, professional community, and collective impact across Jewish educational organizations and schools in Greater Boston.

Responsibilities
  • Support and collaborate on current MCSJE‑based activities with local educators and expand those activities as appropriate, including design and implementation of a national conference of the National Association of Reform Jewish Education (NRJE) in Boston, June 2027.
  • Continue Stronger Together activities (2022‑2026) to maintain momentum: leadership convening, shared resource initiatives, AI Teaching Fellowship, and other initiatives (40%).
  • Design and implement a planning process for a collaborative structure among local Jewish day schools, building on Stronger Together and ST Next, with launch in 2 years (25%).
  • Design and implement a strategy for Jewish educational collaboration in Greater Boston, producing a proposal of achievable initiatives by the project’s end (25%).
  • Lead the one‑year position and oversee relevant program operations (10%).
Qualifications
  • BS/BA required; advanced degree highly preferred.
  • 5–8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience supervising administrative and/or program teams.
  • Deep knowledge of the local Boston Jewish day school community.
  • Experience in all aspects of program planning, administration, and logistical coordination.
Compensation

Salary range: $73,900 – $86,400. Pay offered will consider scope, responsibilities, experience, education, peer equity, and legal requirements.
