Position Summary:
The Carroll School seeks teaching candidates with a growth mindset and a true passion and commitment to lifelong learning. We are seeking candidates with experience and/or interest in teaching students with language-based learning differences and who are drawn to acquire the necessary competencies to successfully teach our type of learners.
This position reports to the Lower School Tutoring Department Head and may provide individualized, pair and/or small group Orton-Gillingham instruction to students at the Carroll School.
Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree and at least one to three years working with children in an academic setting
- Associate Level Orton-Gillingham training course with practicum
- Prior knowledge or willingness to train on standardized test administration techniques and procedures
- Ability to teach using multisensory methods of instruction
Exact salary offered is dependent on educational credentials and years of experience.
