As a Supplier Quality Co‑op, you will be a part of a cross‑functional team working with Incoming Inspection, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Supply Chain. You will work alongside mentors to develop fixturing and gauges for incoming inspection. You will also work on supplier management and development through critical data mining and visualization solutions.
Responsibilities- Create fixtures, functional and go/no‑go gauges in Catia for O‑Inspect Optical System.
- Assist in creating Part Inspection Reports (PIR).
- Assist with Supplier PPAP processes, including review of documents and materials.
- Analyze data inputs and create robust reporting for Supplier Management.
- Work with incoming inspection and supplier quality on vendor action plans related to findings in above responsibilities.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering or a relevant field.
- Experienced with Catia.
- Knowledge of, or willing to learn, GD&T.
- Interested in learning various measurement equipment.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly with spreadsheets and data visualization tools in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Bonus for familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self‑motivated with a strong ability to work independently.
- Adaptable to a fast‑paced and dynamic work environment.
The base pay range for this position is between $30 to $35 hourly. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors including, but not limited to internal equity, job‑related knowledge, skills and experience. This range represents a good faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
This internship position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization.
