Postion SummaryWe’re looking for a Treasury Director to help shape and scale our finance organization during a period of growth and increasing complexity. This role is ideal for a finance leader who thrives on partnering across the business to evaluate and drive working capital improvements, model cash flow scenarios and work with lenders to finance our growth needs. You’ll be primarily responsible for the company’s cash and liquidity, owning banking relationships, working capital, and shared service finance operations.
As a trusted partner to Finance leadership and the broader business, you’ll bring discipline, clarity, and confidence to how we manage cash, risk, and day‑to‑day financial operations.
This role will be based out of our Waltham, MA headquarters. Our company in‑office schedule is designed to maximize collaboration & relationship building balanced with flexibility and well-being with 3 days in office and Thursdays/Friday being remote, flex days.
What You’ll Do- Lead enterprise cash management, liquidity planning, and cash flow forecasting
- Optimize working capital across AP, AR, and inventory‑related cash cycles
- Own banking relationships, including credit facilities, fees, and treasury services
- Manage loan administration, covenant compliance, and related reporting
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and grower payment processes
- Maintain strong treasury controls, policies, and segregation of duties
- Partner with the Controller to support audits and compliance
- Collaborate with the entire finance team on forecasts, growth initiatives, and operational planning
- Build, lead, and develop high‑performing treasury and transactional finance teams
- A hands‑on finance leader who balances strategic thinking with operational execution
- Comfortable owning cash, controls, and external banking relationships
- A strong collaborator who partners effectively across Finance and the business
- Detail‑oriented and disciplined
- A people leader who develops talent and builds trust
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including treasury or cash management
- Experience overseeing AP, AR, and banking relationships
- Strong understanding of controls, audits, and risk management
- Proven leadership experience in a complex or growth‑oriented organization

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $190,000 – $200,000 annually for US‑based employees. This range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position across all US locations, is based on a full‑time work schedule, and is Welch’s good faith estimate as of the date of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for participation in a bonus plan.
