Controller Consultant

Waltham, MA (Hybrid)

KBW Financial has partnered with a global technology organization in Waltham, MA that is seeking a Controller Consultant for a contract engagement through the end of 2026, with potential for extension.

The company is looking for a hands‑on accounting leader with strong global controllership and IFRS experience to support technical accounting projects, process improvements, close activities, and cross‑functional finance initiatives.

• Support global close processes and legal entity accounting activities
• Provide guidance on technical accounting matters and process improvements
• Assist with offshoring initiatives, process documentation, and headcount cost control
• Partner with FP&A, Treasury, Payroll, Tax, AP, and international finance teams
• Support statutory audits, internal controls, and audit remediation activities
• Assist with technical accounting projects including deferred commissions
• Coordinate audit planning and financial statement certification activities

• CPA required
• 10+ years of accounting/finance leadership experience
• Strong IFRS and global accounting experience required
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, close processes, and internal controls
• Exposure to treasury, payroll, and tax topics preferred
• SAP and/or SAP implementation experience is a plus
• Software industry experience is a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree required

This hybrid role offers 3 days onsite / 2 remote and compensation $80-100/hr.
