The Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will work closely with the rest of the Finance team, internal business partners as well as external partners and vendors in support of accounting for Alloy Therapeutics and its subsidiaries. This role requires strong accounting, Excel, and business partnering skills, the ability to work independently and collectively as a team to drive results, and attention to detail and high accuracy.
HowYou'll Drive Impact
- Financial Accuracy and Insight: Ensure the financial health and strategic decision‑making of the business by providing accurate, timely, and insightful budget‑to‑actual reporting and variance analysis for business units and department heads.
- Collaborative Financial Partnership: Partner with various internal teams, including R&D and Business Development, to ensure accurate project costing, timely invoicing, and effective cash flow management.
- Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Drive a data‑driven culture by maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics, enabling departments to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Revenue Optimization and Forecasting Excellence: Play a pivotal role in optimizing revenue recognition and improving forecasting accuracy through close collaboration with Divisional Leaders and Business Development teams.
- Global Financial Stewardship: Maintain diligent oversight of fixed assets across all global locations and provide support for foreign subsidiaries' financial close and tax compliance, ensuring adherence to international regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a Commercial‑Stage life sciences or biotech organization.
- Prior experience with Net Suite and Coupa is strongly preferred.
- CPA or progress toward CPA certification is preferred.
- Ability to work across various US and international time zones.
