Responsibilities:
- Lead key anti-infectives Medical Affairs activities during launch of tebipenem and ibrexafungerp.
- Partner with US Medical Affairs Lead to develop and execute the US Medical Affairs Plan (UMAP) and medical sections of the launch plan; create Launch Readiness materials as needed.
- Execute medical tactics with the cross-functional Medical Matrix Team (e.g., omnichannel, congresses, medical education).
- Lead advice-seeking activities; ensure external insights are shared internally to inform medical strategy and clinical development.
- Integrate US environment needs and medical voice of the customer into medical plans within global work.
- Contribute to design of Phase IIIB/IV and real-world evidence (RWE) studies to address evidence gaps (aligned to IEP).
- Partner with Medical Communications/Training and Medical Information on medical material development and communication plans; develop internal resources (e.g., FAQs, Treatment Landscape).
- Serve as SME for scientific training plans.
- Prioritize medical investments for patient impact (GSK Medical Impact Framework).
- Lead/contribute to US scientific engagement with external communities; ensure medical governance and collaboration with Global Medical, Field Medical, Clinical Development, and Commercial.
- Support USMAL/TAH as needed.
- Advanced Scientific or Clinical Degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD).
- 3+ years’ medical affairs experience.
- Medical prelaunch or launch experience.
Skills:
- Infectious diseases experience; antibiotic use/stewardship.
- Business acumen, customer focus, relationship building, change leadership, learning agility.
- Understanding of evidence generation, external engagement, and advice seeking.
- Strong planning/organizational skills and excellent written/verbal communication.
Annual base salary $187,275–$312,125; annual bonus; eligibility for long-term incentive; health/insurance, retirement, paid holidays/vacation, caregiver/parental and medical leave.
