Established in 1998, Boston Neurobehavioral Associates (BNBA) is a leading outpatient behavioral health organization providing comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral health services across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Illinois, and Florida.

Led by Mohammad Munir, MD, BNBA brings together a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, psychologists, therapists, neuropsychologists, and other behavioral health professionals. Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) / Physician Assistant (PA)

Boston Neurobehavioral Associates (BNBA) is seeking a full-time or part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing outpatient practice. This position will primarily focus on psychiatric medication management for children and adolescents
, with the opportunity to work with patients across a range of behavioral health and psychiatric conditions.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and adolescents in an outpatient behavioral health or psychiatric setting and be comfortable conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing medication management.

Qualifications
  • Active Massachusetts licensure as a PMHNP or PA is required
  • PMHNP certification through ANCC or appropriate national certification for the applicable discipline
  • Graduate degree from an accredited PMHNP program or PA program
  • Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one
  • Experience providing psychiatric evaluation and medication management
  • Experience working with children and adolescents is strongly preferred
  • Experience treating a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary behavioral health team
  • Demonstrated interest in working with culturally diverse populations
  • Commitment to anti-racism, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in clinical practice
Your Role

As a PMHNP or PA at BNBA, you will play an important role in providing accessible, evidence-based psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and their families.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
  • Provide ongoing psychiatric medication management for children and adolescents
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's clinical needs
  • Initiate, adjust, and monitor psychiatric medications while evaluating treatment effectiveness, side effects, and overall response
