Clinical Care
- Provide direct clinical care, treatment recommendations,prescriptions, and thorough, timely documentation according to practice guidelines and while adhering to evidence-based,trauma-informed practices.
- Provide unbiased, evidence-based and support for students seeking PEP, PrEP, gender affirming health care, sexual and reproductive health counseling, including options counseling.
- Participate in activities related to the Health Center?sac credited status by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
- Minimum Qualifications
- Master?s Degree from college or university from a Nurse Practitioner program is required. Experience with in college health,internal medicine, primary care, or urgent care is strongly preferred.
- Active license through the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing as a Massachusetts Advanced Practice Nurse (or abilityto obtain).
- Current National Board Certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Current CPR/AED certification.
- Active DEA and Mass Controlled Substance Registration (orability to obtain).
