The Embassy Suites Boston/Waltham invites you to experience the best of Boston, Massachusetts and surrounding areas. Our property is a true reflection of the city, filled with strong community and creativity. We are under new management and currently hiring motivated, reliable team members to join our refreshed and growing team. A sign-on bonus of $100 is available, with an additional $250 after 90 days of employment.

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
• Work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness
• Walk all assigned floors at the beginning and end of shift to collect bags, trash, and soiled linen
• Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry
• Deliver towels, cribs, cots and other items to the guest rooms on requests
• Perform duties of room attendant when necessary
• Refill the par stock of guest amenities and supplies on each floor pantry
• Help the room attendants with heavy lifting during deep cleaning and room refreshes
• Clean all public areas in the prescribed manner following department standard operating procedures
• Remove soiled linen and trash from all service areas and dispose of them properly
• Always respond in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other team members

• Housekeeping experience desirable
• Neat, pleasant personality
• Time management skills
• Ability to work on feet for an extended period
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to move, traverse, position self to reach corners on floors and high places; observe conditions, detect odors; position and navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces; operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads and dusters
• Lift, carry and position loads of at least 25 lbs

$18.00 per hour
