Guest Experience Specialist

We are seeking a Guest Experience Specialist to assist the Hotel and Sales Department by performing administrative functions. This role works a Tuesday-Saturday or Wednesday-Sunday schedule and is available to support the front desk team during high volume times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Experience Enhancement – work directly with executive leadership to continuously improve the guest experience.
  • Extended Stay Champion – ensure all extended stay guests receive world‑class service; intake leads, coordinate welcome packages, and communicate with front desk.
  • Sales Admin – assist Director of Sales & Sales Manager with reservations, rooming lists, group resumes, and point of contact for groups.
  • Online & Social Media – review online guest surveys, update social media sites, and enhance community integration.
  • World of Hyatt Collaboration – work with the hotel’s World of Hyatt Champion to increase member enrollments and enhance member experience.
  • Meetings & Events – book and manage meetings & events; create BEOs, convert inquiries into sales, contract events, and act as on‑property contact.
  • Operations Support – support front office during heavy demand periods; act as Manager on Duty when needed.
Job Requirements
  • Intermediate or advanced user level in Microsoft Office and familiarity with online guest experience systems.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills; ability to review written material for compliance with rules of correspondence and grammar.
  • Skilled in use of general office equipment (copiers, fax machines, etc.).
  • Ability to excel in a diverse work environment and communicate with individuals of varied educational and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to plan multiple activities, establish priorities, and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Prior hotel and/or hotel sales experience preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
