The following responsibilities describe the duties of the Housekeeping role. This position requires maintaining cleanliness and guest comfort in guest rooms and public areas, while following safety and hotel SOPs.

• Ensure bathroom is cleaned and fully stocked with guest supplies.
• Make beds with appropriate clean linen and pillows.
• Dust and clean walls, windows, and inside of sliding doors.
• Report maintenance needs and items to be removed from rooms (e.g., refrigerators, rollaways, cribs).
• Complete deep cleaning projects as assigned.
• Stock linen carts with needed supplies and tools.
• Vacuum, mop, and clean floors.
• Anticipate guests’ needs; respond promptly to service requests.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned areas (guestroom floors, halls, stairwells, linen closets, vending areas, foyers).
• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
• Remove dirty linens and replace with clean items per layout guidelines.
• Replace guestroom items as required by SOP and room type.
• Remove trash, dust, debris, and foreign particles from furniture, drapes, doors, walls, and fixtures.
• Perform recurring projects to ensure rooms meet housekeeping standards.
• Restock and return cart contents at end of shift.
• Turn over any lost and found items to the Supervisor.
• Follow 4 Keys service standards, SOPs, and safety standards.
• Follow safety and security procedures.
• Collaborate with co-workers and other departments as part of a team.
• Adhere to attendance and reliability standards; perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• Understand the hotel’s mission, vision, and goals.
• Ability to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision.
• Detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to speak, understand, and communicate in the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Excellent communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to push, pull, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Safety requirements of personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed for duties and with required tools and equipment.
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; prioritize, organize, and follow up.
• Clear thinking, calm demeanor, and good judgment to resolve problems.
• Ability to maintain guest service focus and work well with others as part of a team.
• Endure physical effort in transporting up to 50 pounds; perform various movements throughout work areas.
• Effective communication with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Pay: $18.00 per hour.

• Flexible and long hours may be required.
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to hear, understand, and communicate orally and in writing with staff, vendors, and guests.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, twist, push, pull, stoop, and kneel.
