Job Description:

• As an Application Architect specializing in Azure Cloud, you will serve as the lead architect for project delivery, solutioning, and client-facing activities. Your primary responsibility will be to define and implement architecture for omnichannel systems of engagement, ensuring it aligns with software architecture fundamentals and Azure-specific services.
• You should have a strong understanding of API and Microservices-based architecture, with at least three years of experience in implementing Node.js, Spring boot, Spring Cloud, or Netflix OSS technologies.
• Expertise in cloud native development principles, containers, and serverless computing fundamentals is essential.
• A good understanding of Angular.js, scripting technologies like JavaScript and CSS is a plus.
• In this role, you will work closely with Azure services and understand their advantages and disadvantages. You should be able to map existing components/functionalities to Azure-specific services and ensure a smooth transition to the cloud.
• The ideal candidate will have experience working with Azure and can effectively communicate the benefits of Azure services to clients.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong in taking design decisions.
• At least 10 years of direct data architecture experience, including transaction systems, ODS/data lakes, and data warehouses/analytical platforms.
• Proved logical and physical design skills.
• Performance management and tuning.
• Snowflake preferred.
• ETL/integration skills a must.
• Deep knowledge of reporting – analytical and operational.
• Azure experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• System migration experience: on-prem to cloud.

• Experience in Azure cloud services and architecture
• Strong background in API and microservices-based architectures
• Proficiency with Node.js, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, or Netflix OSS technologies
• Cloud-native development, containers, and serverless computing knowledge
• Agile/Scrum experience
• Data architecture experience (10+ years) including transaction systems, ODS/data lakes, and data warehouses/analytical platforms
• Logical and physical design skills
• ETL/integration expertise
• SQL reporting and analytics knowledge
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
