- Act as the subject matter expert for major database platforms, including SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, MySQL, and more
- Troubleshoot and optimize database performance in complex, multi-platform environments
- Collaborate with customers to design and present tailored technical solutions
- Write and maintain technical documentation, including deployment guides and best practices
- Provide technical enablement and training to field teams and customers
- 3+ years of hands‑on DBA experience with enterprise database platforms
- Strong experience in performance tuning and architecture review
- Working knowledge of storage technologies and their interaction with database systems
- Basic programming/scripting skills in Python and Bash/Shell
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of addressing both technical and executive audiences
- Experience in a technical sales, pre‑sales, or field engineering role
- Familiarity with cloud database platforms (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL)
- Experience writing automation scripts for performance benchmarking
- Knowledge of containerized databases (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
