Software Engineer, Systems Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Software Engineer for a Contract with a client in Waltham, MA (Remote). You will provide technical leadership across design, integration, and environmental buildouts while supporting production operations.

Rate Range: $68/hour to $71/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Lead design, configuration, and integration of Workforce software (Advanced Scheduler, Workforce Time Interfaces), ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and certifications (CT104, Workforce Time Interfaces).
• Build, configure, and maintain environments from an infrastructure delivery perspective; manage releases, technical risks, and production support.
• Develop and review technical solutions and interface designs; identify system deficiencies and implement effective, scalable resolutions.
• Serve as the key liaison between IT development and product owners/business leads, driving roadmaps, requirements, and cross‑portfolio alignment.
• Ensure solution quality through SDLC best practices (Agile/SAFe/Waterfall), technical plans, documentation, and timely completion/approval of deliverables.
• Coordinate vendor engagements and hold vendors accountable for outcomes, while enabling integrations (e.g., SAP/Salesforce) and continuous service improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience supporting enterprise software solutions.
• 8+ years of experience working with Advanced Scheduler, Workforce Configuration, and Workforce Software Interfaces.
• Mandatory certifications: CT104 (Building New Configuration) and Workforce Time Interfaces, with strong technical and functional expertise in Workforce Management systems.
• Proven experience in environment build-outs, system integration (including SAP/Salesforce), and acting as a technical liaison between IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Pay Details: $68.00 to $71.00 per hour
