Yoh presents an excellent long-term Dev Ops Engineer opportunity with a trusted, long-term client located in Waltham, MA.

This position is part of a major pharmaceutical company and requires a relevant technical background. Schedule is full-time M-F (7am-8am start time, 8 hour shift) and may require flexibility to work some evenings and overtime due to projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions and Git Hub Workflows.
  • Implement and support Git Ops-based deployments using Argo CD.
  • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications on Kubernetes across development, test, and production environments.
  • Implement secure secret management practices, ensuring secrets are never stored in code or repositories.
  • Define and document Dev Ops standards and best practices for the organization.
  • Manage build artifacts and dependencies using JFrog Artifactory.
  • Support Helm charts, manifests, and deployment strategies.
  • Create templates, examples, and guardrails to improve developer experience while maintaining security and reliability.
  • Partner with development teams to help them follow CI/CD and deployment standards.
  • Monitor application health and support incident response.
Qualifications
  • Relevant technical background (not mandatory if equivalent experience is demonstrated).
  • Experience with Argo CD or other Git Ops deployment tools; experience with artifact repositories (JFrog Artifactory preferred); strong understanding of secret management concepts; working knowledge of Linux and containerized applications.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to understand why Dev Ops practices exist, not just how to run tools; comfortable working with partially defined systems and improving them; able to balance speed, reliability, and security; excellent documentation and communication skills; collaborative approach to working with development teams.
  • Experience supporting developers or setting technical guardrails.
  • Knowledge of Helm, Kustomize, or similar tools.
  • Exposure to security scanning, policy enforcement, or compliance practices.

Estimated Min Rate: $40.00

Estimated Max Rate: $50.00
