Could you be our next Director, AI & Advanced Analytics? The job is in one of the following locations:
King of Prussia, PA, Waltham, MA, or Maidenhead, UK. This is a hybrid position and requires onsite presence three days a week. You will report to the Senior Director, AI/ML Advanced Analytics, Automation & Digital Agent CoE.
You will drive the implementation of AI/ML, advanced analytics, and automation solutions across R&D to improve scientific and operational outcomes. The role supports strategy execution, capability development, and stakeholder engagement to deliver scalable, compliant innovation through digital agents and intelligent automation.
Key Responsibilities- Translate AI/ML and automation strategies into executable plans and projects across R&D functions.
- Lead the development and operationalization of solutions, models, workflows, and agentic tools to support R&D goals.
- Champion governance practices for AI/ML and automation, including ethical use, validation, and MLOps.
- Facilitate user adoption through training, community building (e.g., guilds), and communication of success stories.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise data platforms and existing workflows for seamless integration.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience implementing digital solutions in a scientific, engineering, or technical environment.
- Strong knowledge of emerging digital technologies relevant to R&D.
- Experience delivering solutions using agentic development tools such as Claude Code and Codex.
- Proficiency in data science platforms, MLOps, scripting, and automation tools.
The expected base salary range for this position at hiring is $228,000–$270,000 for Waltham, MA only. Individual base salary is determined by qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies, and other relevant factors. Total compensation may also include incentive compensation and equity.
