Director, AI & Advanced Analytics

CSL's R&D organization is accelerating innovation to deliver greater impact for patients. This role is available in our King of Prussia, PA, Waltham, MA or Maidenhead, UK offices and is a hybrid position – onsite three days a week.

• Translate AI/ML and automation strategies into executable plans and projects across R&D functions.
• Lead development and operationalization of solutions, models, workflows, and agentic tools to support R&D goals.
• Champion governance practices for AI/ML and automation, including ethical use, validation, and MLOps.
• Facilitate user adoption through training, community building (e.g., guilds), and communication of success stories.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise data platforms and existing workflows for seamless integration.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience implementing digital solutions in a scientific, engineering, or technical environment.
• Strong knowledge of emerging digital technologies relevant to R&D.
• Experience delivering solutions using agentic development tools such as Claude, Code, and Codex.
• Proficiency in data science platforms, MLOps, scripting, and automation tools.

Base salary range for this position at Waltham, MA is $228,000–$270,000. Total compensation may also include incentive pay and equity, based on qualifications, skill level, and experience.
