Global Partners LP, a leading Northeastern energy distributor, seeks a Commercial Technology Manager in our Information Technology & Digital Solutions group. In this Oil & Gas role, you will own digital solutions that support fuel logistics, pricing, and commercial operations. Partner with business leaders to define roadmaps, lead implementation of ERP and logistics platforms, integrate advanced planning tools, and drive analytics for real-time decision making.
Manage vendors, oversee cybersecurity and data quality for commercial systems, and mentor a small technical team in a culture of safety, integrity, and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Own the technology roadmap for commercial, pricing, and logistics systems supporting fuel distribution
- Lead implementation, enhancement, and integration of ERP, TMS, and planning tools
- Collaborate with commercial, logistics, and finance stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Oversee data quality, reporting, and analytics for real-time operational and commercial insights
- Manage vendors, contracts, SLAs, and system performance for key platforms
- Ensure cybersecurity, compliance, and reliability of commercial applications
- Lead and mentor a small technical team and coordinate cross functional project resources
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices in digital solutions
- Support incident resolution and change management for production systems
- Report on KPIs, project status, and technology risks to senior leadership
Required Skills
- Enterprise systems management (ERP/TMS in energy or commodities)
- IT project management and delivery
- Systems integration and APIs
- Data analytics and business intelligence (Power BI/Tableau)
- SQL and relational databases
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Cybersecurity and access control for commercial systems
- Vendor and contract management
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas commercial and logistics processes
- Business analysis and requirements gathering
