Shipping Associate

Location: Waltham, MA

Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

This role involves receiving incoming shipments, preparing outbound orders, and maintaining an organized, efficient warehouse operation.

• Process and coordinate domestic and international shipments.
• Schedule freight pickups with carriers and freight forwarders.
• Package and ship raw materials and finished goods safely and efficiently.
• Create shipping documentation, including airway bills, export declarations, and shipping instructions.
• Utilize shipping software such as UPS World Ship, Fed Ex Ship Manager, DHL Easy Ship, and AES.
• Provide shipment tracking and status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Operate barcode scanners, shipping systems, and Pitney Bowes mailing equipment.
• Maintain shipping accuracy, inventory integrity, and workplace safety standards.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

• High school diploma or GED mandatory.

• 2+ years of shipping, logistics, warehouse, or distribution experience preferred.
• Experience with domestic and international freight shipping.
• Knowledge of U.S. export regulations and shipping compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with shipping software, databases, and export documentation.
• Hazardous materials shipping experience (including lithium‑ion batteries) is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a fast‑paced team environment.
