Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Will be part of the on-call rotation- rotation is generally one week every 3 weeks for a FT staff

Primary Responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician:
Responsibilities- Providing effective maintenance throughout all areas of the property
- Working closely with Property Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, and on-site management team to deliver top quality service to residents
- Delivering professional, quality services to residents and responding to service requests in a timely manner
- Adhering to all applicable safety codes/standards and ensuring compliance with all safety protocols
- Effective completion of apartment turnover process for efficient resident move-ins
- Performing various community maintenance services relating to plumbing repair, appliance repair, minor electrical repairs, HVAC troubleshooting and repairs
- Operating various hand tools and power tools as necessary to complete required work
- Establishing effective relationships with vendors and partners
- Maintaining regular and on-call work schedules to meet property’s needs
- Participating in training seminars

What We’re Looking for in a Maintenance Technician Candidate- Valid driver's license required
- Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Great people skills and a desire to provide residents an exceptional residential experience through superior in-person service and quality maintenance services
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 to 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a residential property
- Strong organizational skills and efficient work style
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to maintain a “can do” attitude to ensure the property’s success
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including on-call rotation, weekends and holidays
- Successful completion of required background and drug screening prior to start of employment
- Ability to lift and carry up to or over 50 pounds.
