Interim Director, Corporate Controller

Our client, a global organization in the life sciences sector, is seeking an experienced Interim Corporate Controller to oversee core accounting operations and financial reporting during a leadership leave period. This role manages a small team, ensures timely and accurate close processes, oversees internal controls, and partners cross-functionally on key accounting and operational initiatives.

• Lead monthly and quarterly close activities and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Oversee internal control processes and maintain documentation standards
• Manage inventory accounting reviews and collaborate with operational teams
• Support intercompany activity and consolidated reporting across global entities
• Coordinate financial work papers and assist with internal and external audit needs
• Partner with various teams to support accounts payable processes and banking approvals
• Assist with tax‑related reporting and general compliance activities

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA required
• 8+ years of accounting experience, including experience at the director level
• Experience with consolidations and multi-entity environments preferred
