AboutThe Role
The primary job function is to perform the Preparation and Assembly operations required to assist in the manufacturing of Planar Sensor products to meet both internal and external customer demands. Functions may include cleaning parts, assembling with pneumatic presses, labeling, inserting glass into fixtures, and occasional packaging as business needs dictate.
What You’ll Do- Perform assembly and labeling processes for various Planar Sensor consumable products using pneumatic press machines.
- Work with various packaging equipment such as automated/manual tape machines, auto bag machines, heat sealers, and other packaging devices.
- Run a plasma treatment system for surface treatment of blood oxygen assembly.
- High School/trade School diploma.
- 1–3 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Preferred medical device manufacturing experience.
- Dependable, willing to learn, adaptable to change, and positive attitude.
- Ability to understand assembly procedures, drawings, verbal instructions, and related documentation to assemble, label, and package various products.
- Solid communicator.
- Basic math skills.
- Listening and taking direction as business needs dictate.
- Alternating between standing and sitting.
- Fine motor manipulation.
- Repetitive task performance: repeating motions that may include wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Remaining in a stationary position often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Using foot or leg controls.
- Using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Walking.
- Ability to wear PPE.
- Noisy/loud environment.
