Machine Shop Machinist
Responsible for setting up and operating both manual and CNC machining equipment to produce high‑quality parts, ensuring accuracy through inspections, adherence to specifications and timely production.
What you’ll do- Set up all shop equipment including Manual Milling, Lathe, Handscrew and CNC Millers and Lathes, including tool offsets and editing of CNC programs.
- Maintain operation of CNC machines and ensure part quality, dimensional inspections and meeting time standards.
- Read and write English and follow written/verbal instructions.
- Perform basic math.
- Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Proficient with all shop measuring tools and able to read and understand part drawings.
- High School or Technical School graduate.
- 10-15 years Machine Shop experience.
- Setting up and operating all manual and automated equipment within the Machine Shop.

On‑site at Waltham facility, 5 days/week.
Targeted Salary Range$30 - $35/hour.
Working Hours7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
